The reason why Borders = Syphilitic Dick Drip

My girlfriend Strawberry worked for Borders for years and was a Café manager and an outstanding employee. One day Borders said huh, our stock/profits is only going this direction *–* and we want it to go this direction */* so let’s cut everyone’s wages! Normally large corps just lay a bunch of people off and then rehire at lower wages. Because CUTTING wages leads to some PISSED OFF employees. But Borders came in and said: We’re cutting your wage, your hours, your benefits, and demoting you to supervisor: Take it or leave it. Reluctantly, she took it. After a month or so of feeling SCREWED and still working manager duties, Strawberry quit and went to court to obtain unemployment benefits. She claimed that she was forced to quit because she can’t afford to live on these cut wages and deserves unemployment benefits. The judge ruled in her favor, saying that Borders was at fault for her losing her job. A few other employees heard about this and also quit and got benefits. She took her benefits, moved away, and got a job in WA.

Years later, Borders decided, “Fuck those employees, we’re going to teach them a lesson” and Borders SUED STRAWBERRY for “falsely” obtaining unemployment. They brought in their Corp. lawyers against a woman with no lawyer and WON. Now Borders is garnishing Strawberry’s wages until she PAYS BACK the unemployment.

A woman who has a high-school education and works her ass off doing manual labor to support herself. They spent countless thousands of dollars on their lawyers in order to get back $3,000 from a woman who was awarded the money from a judge and did nothing illegal to obtain the money. But Borders did it to make a point: Do not fuck with us, you American laborer with no money or power. We will stomp you.

Big Corps do unethical things all the time to “people” in general. I don’t like it, but it’s basically a fact of life. But for them to hunt down an individual years later, someone who had worked her ass off for THEM, and to steal back their money? This is a new low. And to Strawberry, a woman who’s never done anything but work and give 100% to every employer she’s had. Do Not. Fuck. With My Girl. Or you will see my head explode. I have a special list just for her that's called People Who Fucked with Strawberry and Therefore Should Die.

I wish that Borders, since it is legally a “Person” would send a person-representative over to my crib and GET IN THE RING. Get in the ring, motherfucker, and I will pound your face into next Tuesday. As I sit here, I can totally imagine what Borders’ x-rays would look like, its facial bones broken into 20 pieces.
